The Setting:
Tallulah Gorge State Park is in North Georgia. A dam feeds into a gorge with various waterfalls. There are steps from the top that will take you down to the bottom. There is also a swinging bridge that traverses the canyon halfway down. There is ample opportunity to hike and get a good workout while seeing the river and waterfalls from various overlooks and angles. It is a wonderful place to go spend a day adventuring.
