The Setting:
The Chattahoochee River snakes through Georgia. We visited a few spots north of Atlanta. Various birds congregate in the area due to the abundance of life. Perhaps the biggest highlight was trying to capture Northern Rough-winged Swallows as they glided along the river surface, likely catching insects. These birds are very fast as they skim the waters. Wooded areas provided an interesting canopy in the early spring, lush with green.
