The Setting:
Amicalola Falls State Park is the location of the highest waterfall in Georgia. A daunting ramp and stairway allows people to climb from the base to the summit. You can also drive to the top. A pedestrian bridge allows views of the waterfall from the middle of the mountain. There is an overlook hotel that allows visibility of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It is a unique park and hiking opportunity.
