The Setting:
A hot summer day at Watson Mill Bridge State Park. The longest operational covered bridge in Georgia. Only one vehicle can traverse the bridge at a time. The river was only trickling over the dam walls. People were spending time in the waters, trying to stay cool. There are other walking paths and hiking opportunities, but the main draw will always be the bridge. You have to drive out into the middle of nowhere to find it, but it is worth the trip.
